TEAM BASS Fishing Club WAIVER OF DAMAGES-PLEASE READ AND SIGN
The undersigned has paid his/her dues for membership and/or entry fee for various club events or tournaments. In consideration of my being accepted as a member and accepted to participate in club meetings, events or tournaments, I agree as follows.
1. I assume all risk of injury or death and loss of property which may result from my participation in club meetings events or tournaments.
2. I hereby release and discharge Team Bass Fishing Club, its Directors, Officers, Agents, representatives; and other members from any and all liability, obligation, loss, damages, claims or causes of action in any way resulting from or arising out of the meetings, events or tournaments. I grant this release and discharge with full knowledge and awareness of the inherent danger associated with competitive fishing events such as those that may be conducted by the Club. I also agree to indemnify all the foregoing persons or entities from all liability resulting from my conduct or other persons assisting or cooperating with me under my direction.
3. I agree to carry adequate liability insurance for use of my boat in Club events and tournaments.
4. I have read and am familiar with the rules and agree to abide by all rules of the tournaments and further agree that resolutions of any disputes and other decisions designated shall be binding and conclusive and not subject to legal or administrative appeal.
I have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions stated herein and acknowledge that this agreement shall be effective and binding upon me, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, estate, and all members of my family.
IMPORTANT! You must be a member of Team Bass to fish any or all of our tournaments.

2024 Membership format (same as 2023):

• To save bookwork, we will have a cash only policy, please try to bring exact change.
• Membership fee of $100 per year per member ($50 for age 21 and under).
• Calcutta and big fish side bets are optional extra costs and decided at morning check in (usually $10 per person for Calcutta and $10 big fish).
• We are nonprofit and all money not paid out goes to club overhead such as insurance and plaques.

A total of 7 tournaments, 5 qualifying point tournaments, the Tournament of Champions and the Super Stars tournament. All tournaments are held on Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., check in at 6:30 a.m., except the TOC and Super Stars tournaments which will be posted. Besides the cash prizes awarded after each tournament, the following awards are also presented:

A first place plaque for each team member that wins a tournament.
An “Angler of the Year” plaque for top team or individual finishers in the point’s race. (Please note that only your top 4 tournaments count, allowing you to miss 1 and still compete).
A $100 bonus for the biggest bass weighed in for the year.
POINTS SYSTEM:
1st 50 points
2nd 49
3rd 48
4th 47
5th 46 etc.

Points will be awarded in descending order for all finishers in order of finish.
One additional point is awarded for each qualifying tournament to the team members with the biggest fish.
Only your top 4 tournaments count, allowing you to miss 1.
Any member that fishes at least 4 qualifying tournaments can fish the Tournament of Champions for free.

TEAM BASS RULES

You may not cast within 200 feet of where another angler is casting without their permission (this includes non tournament anglers)
Must have a valid Minnesota fishing license and obey all laws and regulations, including local ordinances and laws
A life jacket must be worn whenever the outboard is running
All fish are catch and release only, tournament species or otherwise
No more than two fisherman per boat
Tournament limit will be either 5 or 6 bass per team depending on particular tournament circumstances
Winners will be determined by total weight of limit
Minimum size is 12 inches
Bringing in a fish under the 12 inch minimum will cost you your biggest fish and the short fish
Must not have more than one (1) tournament limit of fish in possession at close of tournament
No live bait
No alcoholic beverages allowed in boat
You may leave your boat only for an emergency
No fishing on the day of the tournament prior to tournament start
You must be at weigh-in site on time or you will be docked 4 oz. per minute
Must check in 30 minutes to starting time
Each dead fish will deduct 2 oz.
